In two of those, I have encountered an alien entity in what also what felt like a control room of some kind. The entity seemed to notice me but was busy working, focused on rhythmically moving leavers and pushing buttons, not communicative. The second time caught me off guard me as I did not expect to be back in the same room meeting the same entity.
Hearing you mention a similar control room caught my attention!
